The world of media is an exciting one. Social media is a relatively new instrumentarian power (still). This course helps you to identify ethical dilemmas and how to solve them.

An excellent source for those who want to understand media ethics as well as to built on existing knowledge of the subject. Spread across 4 weeks, the videos are easy to understand and useful. The tests at the end of each week are pointed and requires the learner to pay close attention (However, I spot a few errors in the choices provided - especially Quiz #3) The area that can be worked upon is the number of questions for each quiz especially the final quiz. I would also suggest that a few descriptive questions be included as part of the quiz rather than as discussion prompts alone. Related to the pedagogy, however, there is a significant eurocentrism in the course materials. I hope the course instructors and the team will work on this to have a more inclusive syllabi. Definitely recommend this course.

Overall, it's a helpful course mainly focusing on ethical dilemma between deontology and utilitarianism, and media governance models from the early modern times till today. Some theories like the free media model and social responsibility model can be illustrated more to let students know about what is going on in their own countries.

Very interesting course. Enjoyed the different viewpoint on ethics and learned a great deal. Would be great to have feedback on the final assignment from maybe 1 of the course presenters?

The course is extremely well structured and delivered. The instructors are top notch and content is developed well. It would be great if the last quiz could be a little shorter.

Very interesting perspectives on media ethics and governance. At times a bit too theoretical with little practical applications.
